# Applying offers repeatedly

> Learn to apply offers more than once per order

Coupons+ offers the ability to apply an individual offer multiple times per order. For example, consider the following scenario:

# Example: A simple Buy One, Get One

You have setup a BOGO offer that will give the customer a free V-Neck T-Shirt when they buy one in full:

![image shows a simple bogo offer](https://mintcdn.com/neblabs/V_dQ8cS1i4mxIxfD/images/bogo-repeteadly.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=V_dQ8cS1i4mxIxfD\&q=85\&s=93e572e955ad51b79d965fd2305fb5bf)

Pretty simple and common scenario. When the customer buys one t-shirt, they'll get another one for free.
But what happens when the customer wants to buy another t-shirt? By default, all offers including (BOGO), are only applied once. so if the customer now adds another t-shirt, they'll have 3 in the cart: The first one is the one they are buying in full, the second one is the one that they are getting for free. The third one is the one they just added to the cart. The (BOGO) offer didn't add another t-shirt because the offer was set to apply once per order, and the BOGO offer would not apply the discount to a second t-shirt if the customer had 4 t-shirts in their cart. This behavior can be modified on some offers.

# Applying repeatedly

**1. Open the offer configuration screen**

From the Coupons+ dashboard, click on the offer to edit it.

**2. Change the apply mode**

Scroll down to the section: **How many times can this be applied** and click ***Repeatedly***.

![configuration that shows the mode: apply repeatedly selected](https://mintcdn.com/neblabs/V_dQ8cS1i4mxIxfD/images/apply-repeatedly-mode-selected.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=V_dQ8cS1i4mxIxfD\&q=85\&s=ecd42e4b7f507c9ac6f990f6b3f6c928)

Click *Apply Changes* and save the coupon.

Now the offer will be applied for every 1 new eligible item the customer adds to the cart. For this bogo example, the offer will apply on pairs of 2 (1 paid in full, 1 free). So if the customer buys 1 t-shirt they'll get 1 free, if they buy 2, they'll get 2 free, if they buy 3, they'll get 3 free, and so on.

This of course depends on your specific offers tree. If you have a Buy 2, Get 1 BOGO offer (also know as a 3 for 2 or 3 x 2), then the offer will be applied in pairs of 3 eligible items (2 that must be bought in full, 1 the free item)

This feature is available on the following offers:

* BOGO: Same Products
* BOGO: Different Products
* Bundle Price

This option is saved on the offer object as `options.__BASE__.isRecursive = true`
